A 17-yr-old German girl is in a serious condition in hospital after she was struck by a bus whilst fleeing an attacking Afghan refugee.
The girl was harassed by the migrant as she and her friend (14) waited in a bus terminal in Minden, near Hanover at around 9 PM on Saturday.
Harassment of German women and girls by Muslim migrants is exceedingly common in Germany and excepted as part of daily life with authorities and onlookers often fearful of intervening in case of violence or being accused of racism.
The situation escalated however, and the women fled to a bus seeking help as the migrant chased her and was joined by another one of Chancellor Merkel’s guests. A bus driver opened the doors to the woman, but the migrant grabbed her hair pulling her back.
The girl fell and her legs were crushed under the wheels of the moving bus. The attacking refugees fled the scene but were later apprehended by police.
One the men was charged with assault while the other man was released without charge.
This latest incident comes just a day after another refugee, from Iraq was charged with the rape and murder or another 14-year-old German girl and the gang rape of 11-year-old.
