Many people are querying how so much of the population has been vaccinated yet there continues to be at least 1,000 new cases per day around the country.
Perhaps one of the answers is the high level of testing that’s taking place around Ireland.
It’s understood that on Saturday alone, some 17,000 people were tested – one of the highest number of people tested on a Saturday since the pandemic began.
