A £2.5 million Ferrari was totalled by a dealership mechanic when he took it for a test drive.

According to the Irish Sun, the car was one of just 400 made and may have to be written off after it smashed into a tree stump in Baarn, Netherlands, around two kilometres away from a Ferrari dealership. The weather at the time was said to be damp and chilly.    Miraculously, even though the driver was said to be taken to hospital, he is said to have been unhurt.

The car was estimated to be worth around £2.5 million.
