The 83rd National Ploughing Championships has commenced
at Ratheniska near Stradbally, Co
Laois for the second year in a row.
Over 200,000 people are expected to attend the three-day event which will feature 1,500 exhibitors.
It’s Europe’s largest outdoor agricultural trade show.
The weather is said to remain ‘mostly dry’ for the event.
