A 21-year-old man is in hospital today, after sustaining gunshot wounds to his legs during an attack in Tullamore earlier today.
It is understood the incident happened on a field just off Clara Road, Tullamore. Preliminary investigations suggest that the shots were fired from a distance. A second young man who was also present did not sustain any injuries.
