According to reports in Russia a 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of masterminding the sickening Blue Whale suicide game.
It is understood the girls arrest comes after authorities tracked her online activity after they received reports from vulnerable teenagers who were threatened by the girl after they failed to carryout a number of tasks that were designed to see them cause self harm.
It is alleged the unnamed girl threatened the young teens after they refused to undertake the deadly tasks which included cutting themselves.
Police say the girl threatened to murder them or their families if they failed to complete tasks she specifically set out.
The latest and potentially pivotal arrest comes as police set up a widespread investigation after a number of suicides were reported across Russia in recent months.
