A 22-yr-old man has sadly died today after he was critically injured in a road crash in Co Louth at the weekend.
The man was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, following the collision between his motorbike and a car on the N2 at Edmonstown on Saturday evening shortly after 8pm.
It’s understood that two men in the car, aged in their 30s and 60s were not badly injured in the crash and were treated at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
