25 Irish passengers are reportedly thrown off of a Carribean flight after their disruptive behaviour delayed take off.

In Gatwick airport a group of 25 people believed to be Irish were taken from a flight by police.

A Sussex police spokesperson stated that at 11:35am on Monday “police were called to an outbound Thomson flight”

The flight in question, TOMo38, was travelling to Liberia, Costa Rica from Gatwick was delayed from its 09.15am departure until 12.37pm.

These people were reported to have become abusive towards staff, who were under pressure due to the plane having technical difficulties.

The pilot refused to take off with the disruptive passengers on board the plane.

A further statement confirmed that there was “no violence” and “no evidence of criminal offences on the aircraft or in the airport”.
