A three-year-old boy suffered serious injuries during a hit-and-run incident in Cork this afternoon.
The incident happened just before 4pm, on the Skehard Road in the Blackrock area of the city. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
The boy was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
