Gardaí in North Dublin have confirmed that they have arrested a man in connection with two fires that occurred earlier today.
It is understood the man’s arrest comes after a fire occurred at an apartment complex in the Newtown Court area of Coolock at approximately 12.30pm.
Meanwhile two cars were proposely set on fire in the Templeview Gren area of Clarehall, a short time later.
Gardaí say the man aged in his 40s was arrested this evening and is currently being detained at Coolock Garda Station.
