In the United States, 43 abortion centres have been closed since the United States Supreme Court ruled on June 24 in Roe v. Wade revived.

And others are expected to close in the coming months as they are no longer allowed to make money killing unborn babies in abortions, says Pro Life groups.

According to a new report from The 19th, seven states are completely abortion-free and four more have had their abortion centres closed due to their recently enforced pro-life laws.

The report highlighted new data from the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-choice research group that has studied the impact of state anti-abortion laws on abortion centres since Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health.

Guttmacher researchers found that all abortion facilities in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Texas were closed or closed due to their abortion laws.

According to Axios, 23 were closed in Texas alone, along with five each in Alabama and Oklahoma, two each in Arkansas and one each in Mississippi, Missouri and South Dakota.
