A 44-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a male at a house in Macroom, Co. Cork, on Sunday night.

The victim was identified as Timmy Foley. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood that both the woman in question an a second male, believed to be the deceased’s brother, were take to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
