German police have confirmed that they hunted down and shot dead a Muslim migrant who was wanted in connection to ploughing his van into a group of gays at a pride event in Berlin on Saturday night.
The migrant was named 21-yr-old Abdul Ballout.
He was fatally shot in a garden complex in Berlin’s Spandau suburb.
The manhunt had been ongoing since 9pm Irish time on Saturday night.
