45 Syrian families to be housed in Co Tipperary over the coming weeks

45 families are to be relocated in Co Tipperary as part of a national program in which migrant families are integrated into many local communities.

As part of a resettlement program in Clonmel, Nenagh, Tipperary and Templemore, Tipperary will take in 45 Syrian families, as Tipperary Live report will “benefit from an influx of migrants in the coming weeks.”

The news was communicated to the members of the local authority at a meeting of the Sinead Carr District Council, the director of the housing department. He said the 45 families will be resettled as part of a national program in Tipperary families that are integrated into many local communities.

Ms Carr said that the 45 families will be re-settled in Tipperary as “part of a national programme” which will see families living with many local communities.
