The little 5-yr-old darling who is in hospital following a stabbing incident in Dublin on Thursday is said to be fighting for her life.
The second child who was attacked, a 6-yr-old girl, has been released following surgery and is recovering at home from her injuries.
Two other children and a woman also sustained injuries during the attack outside a school in Parnell Sq. on Thursday afternoon. The attacker, believed to be a male in his 50s, is also in hospital, and under guard. His identity has not been disclosed.
The attack sparked riots around Dublin’s city centre, with multiple stores looted and vehicles torched.
