Fighting back: Concerned, local citizens in Dromahair, Co Leitrim have erected a number of road blocks around their community to prevent migrants being planted in their village

Protests and checkpoints were organized within hours last Friday after rumours spread that the government would be bussing migrants into the town that night as has happened in so many small, rural communities targeted as part of the migrant plantation agenda.

Three checkpoints set up in the village by a local, grassroots group called Dromahair Concerned Citizens.

The migrants didn’t not arrived however as Minister Roderick O’Gorman’s Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth continues to asses a local hotel for suitability as a migrant centre.
