A man who touched a young woman in Dublin Airport with his foot and exposed himself has entered a not guilty plea, reports The Mirror.
The charges against David Marowa, 57, of Sycamore Drive, The Park, Cabinteely, Dublin, included sexual assault and displaying his genitalia with the intent to cause fear, anxiety, or alarm.
According to Dublin District Court, the incident happened in Terminal 1 early on March 20, 2022.
In order to decide whether or not to accept jurisdiction and move the matter to the Circuit Court, which has more extensive sentencing authority, Judge Treasa Kelly requested an overview of the facts, reports The Mirror.
The complainant, a 22-year-old from continental Europe, allegedly approached him with his “genitals exposed” and touched her buttocks with his foot, according to what the judge heard.
She was also told by a witness during the preliminary hearing that the man “had his penis out,” reports The Mirror.
CCTV footage was also present.
