Transport Minister Eamon Ryan will fially meet Michael O’Leary face to face

The transport minister, who has accused Ryanair’s CEO of being “personally abusive,” will meet with him, reports Breaking News.

In a meeting with Michael O’Leary on Thursday, one week after the airline boss launched a personal attack on him in a dispute about passenger caps at Dublin Airport, Eamon Ryan promised to “set the record straight.”

Mr. O’Leary said last week that Mr. Ryan and Catherine Martin, the Minister for Tourism, were “dunces” for not granting the airline’s requests to lift the restriction that keeps Dublin Airport’s annual passenger count at 32 million, reports Breaking News.

According to Ryanair’s CEO, Green Party lawmakers had to either increase the passenger cap or quit their positions.

According to Mr. Ryan, remarks made by Mr. O’Leary himself and on his company’s social media pages in the previous several weeks were “personally abusive.”

The head of the Green Party said that he would use the meeting to “set the record straight on a couple of things that he may be misguided” when asked about it.

He said: “I’m interested in the details of policy here discussing with Ryanair, I don’t think there’ll be any problem on a personal level,” reports Breaking News.
