A 70-year-old cyclist lost his life in a road crash in Co. Meath this morning.

The accident happened on the R153 Balrath, near Kentstown.
The man was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was not injured.
