A 93-year-old former guard at a Nazi concentration camp has been put on trial for his alleged complicity in the death of over 5,000 prisoners.
The man, identified as Bruno Dey, has admitted to working in the Stutthof camp, located near present-day Gdansk in Poland, during 1944-1945, when he was 17. Mr. Dey was part of the guard crew manning the watchtowers.
If convicted, he may face up to 10 years in prison.
