Arguably Ireland’s largest town, Drogheda in county Louth is seeing yet another water shortage.
The Liberal understands that water services were going to be curtailed overnight with water only being supplied to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital.
Services were due to resume shortly after 6am this morning but thousands of people claim that they’re still without running water at midday.
Since the heatwave began, water shortages in Drogheda have increased but have not yet gotten to the levels they were at in 2019.
As the now infamous meme goes:
“Do they expect us to walk around duurty?”
