Social media users have reacted very negatively to what has been described as “extortionate wages” that RTE’s top stars were paid in 2021.
RTE have released their 2021 figures for salaries for their top earners and the figures are the price of a very nice house.
Ryan Tubridy tops the list on €440,000 with a breakdown of almost €37,000 per month.
People are saying that it’s utterly outrageous and that RTE “stars” are not remotely the fee that they’re being paying and that if the company was privatised there’d be a major reality check.
