The Pyongyang regime has deemed the latest round of economic sanctions ‘an act of war’.
The UN unanimously voted to slap North Korea with further sanctions -drafted by the US- after the latest missile test on November 29.
This latest round of restrictions further curtail North Korea’s energy supply and bans the export of heavy goods into the country.
A statement released by North Korea reads “We define this sanctions resolution rigged up by the US and its followers as a grave infringement upon the sovereignty of our Republic, as an act of war violating peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and the region and categorically reject the resolution”.
