A US World War II veteran has been discharged from hospital after spending 58 days in hospital with Covid-19.
The man Lloyd Falk who spent 58 days at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Virginia, was discharged from hospital last week.
In a moving video posted on social media staff at the hospital are seen clapping and cheering as Falk left the hospital.
However sadly despite Falk’s remarkable recovery he and his family will be grieving as Lloyd’s wife of 74 years sadly passed away with the virus a few weeks ago.
It is understood that Lloyd is now recovering at home following his release from hospital.
