It was a night to remember for Katie Taylor and the people of Bray as the new undisputed lightweight champion of the world returned home last night.
In scenes of joy and celebration, Ireland’s first ever undisputed champion was given a rapturous reception as she took to the stage in Co Wicklow.
Following on from an eventful week, the undefeated boxer posed with fans for pictures before addressing the delighted crowd.
Taylor who also said she is looking forward to a rematch with Delfine Persoon, also thanked fans for their support not only this past week – but for her entire career.
Although weather conditions weren’t ideal, Taylor met and greeted fans before signing autographs to mark a memorable return home.
