The internet is always awash with amazing videos showcasing everything that goes on around the world, and this week is no different as a group of students captured this amazing footage from a GoPro camera they launched into space two years ago.
The footage was only discovered recently after a bunch of students created their own 3D printed case and launched a GoPro, Sony camcorder and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 into the skies back in June 2013. The 2 year wait for the students was well worth it as the footage has gone viral with over 2 million views on Youtube already. The amazing scenes could have been released a lot sooner but the students only managed to find the phone and camera after a prolonged search, it is understood the phone was supposed to send a text message revealing its location but never manged to do so because it was too badly damaged. However someone managed to find it recently and contact the owners.
