A Professor has been shot dead in Delta State University, Mississippi. The gunman remains at large on the university campus. History Professor Ethan Schmidt has been confirmed as the victim. The Professor was killed while working in his office. The campus is currently on lockdown while police hunt down the gunman.
Students and staff have been warned to stay inside and to keep away from windows. Students report seeing a SWAT team on campus.
