There was a lucky escape for a group of toddlers this morning after a car crashed into a Creche in Co Waterford.
According to reports the infants who were being looked after by their minder thankfully escaped without any injuries after a car crashed into the room they were staying in.
The incident which happened at First Steps Creche in Ballybeg, Co Waterford, at approximately 9.30am this morning seen a number of emergency service units arrive at the scene within a matter of minutes.
Speaking about the incident which is being treated as an accident, a Garda spokesperson said the car lost control and crashed into one of the pre-school rooms.
They added thankfully no one was seriously injured in this unfortunate accident.
GardaĆ say an investigation will continue in order to determine what caused the crash and that the creche will remain closed in the coming days ahead in order for repair works to be adequately carried out.
