A total of 5 people have been killed on our roads today from two crashes in Mayo and Cork.
Two people, believed to be American tourists, have been killed in a crash near Blarney, while three others, including one child, were killed in a crash near Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
The Mayo accident happened at 1pm when a car hit a truck on the N17 road where two women and a child of one of the women all tragically lost their lives.
The Cork accident happened earlier at 11am where it’s understood two American tourists in a Skoda Octavia car hit a truck on the N20 road.
