“A new Airport garda station yet the response time was disgraceful” – People aren’t happy with the fact thugs fought in Dublin Airport for close to 15 minutes in total without security or garda intervention

Many people on social media have said that it’s utterly disgraceful that travellers were allowed beat each other practically unconscious in front of shocked onlookers with absolutely no sign of gardai or Airport Police in sight.

The brawl is believed to have lasted overall from start to finish for a full 15 minutes before any police presence was seen in Terminal 1.

A new garda station recently opened at the Airport but out of all the 48 gardai who are manned there, none of them showed up for some 15 to 20 minutes.

In what can only be described as truly shocking, disturbing and down right despicable behaviour, two thugs threw down in the middle of Dublin Airport on Tuesday evening.

It’s believed the thugs are members of the travelling community and were known to each other.

While “the fight” went on, it got even worse when another thug hit one of the men and a brawl broke out that saw one man being repeatedly stamped on as he lay on the ground.

There were absolutely no security guards or Airport Police in sight. Some people on social media claim they were too afraid to intervene.

Gardai eventually got to the Airport but the fight that lasted over 2 minutes was over.

One thug was arrested while another was taken to hospital.
