A pedestrian aged in their 30s has died after being struck by a lorry in Dublin

A pedestrian has lost his life after being struck by a truck in south Dublin, reports Breaking News.

The collision occurred on Ballyboden Way in Dublin 16 at around 8:30am on Friday morning.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene, reports Breaking News.

A technical investigation was carried out and the road has since been reopened.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area during that time to get in touch with them, reports Breaking News.
