The almost impossible Brexit breakthrough could in fact become a reality after all sides on the issue sound very positive notes in terms of getting a deal across the line.
The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson released a joint statement claiming that there is a pathway for the possibility of a Brexit deal.
Although no details of what was discussed at the meeting between the two have been revealed, it is thought that the pair discussed Britain’s recent proposals for withdrawal agreement, something similar to the original Northern Ireland backstop.
The meeting comes after the pair had a 40 minute phone call earlier two weeks ago.
