The sky will be lit bright by a rare ‘Full Cold Moon’ on Christmas Eve, a phenomenon not seen since 1977.
A markedly bright moon will hang on the night sky as Santa makes his magical journey around the world. And according to NASA, such sight will not come around on a Christmas Eve night again until 2034.
The last full moon of the year is known as the Full Cold Moon, according to the Farmers’ Almanac.
So cloud cover permitting, look skywards tomorrow night and watch this rare celestial treat unfold.
