A crane driver has been hailed as a hero after he drove his crane from a construction site to a fire at a nearby building to rescue people trapped inside.
The remarkable incident which happened in Fushun City in Liaoning province of China, has seen the 19-year-old man being hailed as hero.
According to CCTV the young man rescued a total of 14 people after he sprung into action and drove to the burning building on Thursday, May 2nd.
Speaking to CCTV following the incident, the brave teenager Lan Junze said he saw the smoke very close to a woman and her young child and his immediate reaction was to go rescue them.
Although after rescuing the pair a number of other people thankfully escaped via the crane’s basket.
