It’s about time the government actually caught up with the reality of what’s going on in society and how some degenerates commit crimes that are quite simply unspeakable.
It’s understood that Justice Minister Helen McEntee is looking at introducing new powers that would see Judges having the powers to tell such criminals that they wouldn’t be entitled to a parole hearing for 20, 25 or even 30 years.
Such sentences have been called for from the public for years, but at last, it would seem that justice could well be served.
