Today is the day where thousands of workers who sadly have either lost their jobs or temporarily lost their jobs are receiving their coronavirus Unemployment Payment.
It’s also the day however that AIB people with their quarterly fees on their accounts. Families who received €350 today, that is aimed at helping them get through the next week has seen up to €100 taken from their accounts as a result.
It’s understood that AIB say that these payments were due out on this day and that they are from November to March and just a coincidence.
