Acting Chief Medical Officer has warned of coronavirus cases among school children over the coming weeks as schools reopen this week.
Dr. Ronan Glynn is trying to reassure worried parents saying that ‘the HSE will respond and liaise closely with the school‘ when outbreaks occur.
Mr. Glynn insisted that International evidence shows us that child-to-child and child-to-adult transmission of COVID-19 in schools is uncommon.’
