Acting Taoiseach Enda Kenny insists on further talks about partnership with Fianna Fáil

Slowly slipping into a deepening delusion in his desperate pursuit of power, acting Taoiseach Enda Kenny keeps wanting everyone around him to talk about partnership and coalition government.

The Fine Gael boss has now demanded that everyone sits down again to talk to him about forming a coalition government, even after everybody has already rejected that idea.

And once again showing that pre-election promises are nothing but hot air, he said “If everybody in the General Election were to fulfil their promises, you wouldn’t have a government.”

Mr. Kenny’s demands for further talks have sparked fury and skepticism about his state of mind and motivations. Fianna Fail leader, Micheal Martin, has already said that he will not enter into any further talks unless the idea of a minority-led government is discussed.

Over 40 days after the General Election, the country remains without a government, and with the power struggle raging on, there is no hope of political stability any time soon.
