It may officially be Spring, but the weather is anything but.
Saturday will start reasonably dry and cold in most places, but rain will soon spread nationwide towards the afternoon, possibly turning into snow and sleet over high ground. Temperatures will hover at around 5-8C, with the possibility of thundery hail showers in some areas.
Tonight will be a very cold night, with temperatures hovering just above freezing.
Sunday will be very wet once again, particularly over Munster and Leinster.
The weather will remain unsettled next week, though some milder temperatures are expected.
