The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will come face to face with his British counterpart later today in New York.
Varadkar has been accused of acting the “tough guy” lately with his stance on Brexit and the border issue. But British Prime Minister Boris Johnson isn’t backing down either.
A resolve of the issue still is nowhere in sight with the backstop reportedly firmly in place. Varadkar has consistently said he’s willing to hear a British alternative, but thus far none has materialised.
