There was some sad news in the entertainment world today as it was sadly announced that the actor and comedian Jerry Stiller has passed away.
Stiller father of Ben and Amy is best remembered for his role as George Costanza’s father Frank in Seinfeld and his role as Carrie Heffernan’s father Arthur in The King of Queens.
The news Stiller’s death was confirmed by his son and fellow actor Ben who said the following on Twitter: “I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes.”
“He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years.”
“He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.”
