Actor Danny Trejo praised after rescuing boy from overturned car




Hollywood actor Danny Trejo has been praised for his heroics after he helped rescue a child from an overturned car in Los Angeles.

According ABC News, Trejo star of Machete and Con-Air managed to rescue the boy after he became trapped inside the which he was travelling in with his grandmother.

It is understood the actor with the assistance of bystander sprung into actin after noticed the overturned car in downtown Los Angeles.

Speaking to ABC, Trejo said that he helped calm the boy who has special needs, by telling him that we must use our superpowers.

Trejo who has since said that he is relieved that the boy is okay following the crash, told reporters that the boy bonded with him after he repeated what he said during the rescue.

The actor told the broadcaster that upon seeing the boy panicked he said we must use our superpowers and our muscles, which prompted the boy to yell ‘superpowers’ and ‘muscles’ as he was lifted from the car.

Although thankfully no one was injured in the incident, Trejo told ABC that he believes that the accident was caused by a fellow motorist who may have jumped a red light.

It is reported that the boy’s grandmother was rescued from the car by the LA Fire Department and both the boy and grandmother along with another passenger were taken to hospital.

However thankfully it is believed no one suffered any serious injuries.
