Star of the big and small screen Actor James Garner has sadly died aged 86. The star of best known for his roles in the movie Maverick and the hit tv show the Rockford Files, was found dead of natural causes at his home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, last night, police officer Alonzo Iniquez has said.
According to sources officers responded to a call at around 8pm local time and confirmed Garner’s identity from family members, Mr Iniquez added.
Garner who was nominated for an Oscar for the 1985 movie Murphy’s Romance, and remained active in showbiz until well into his 70s.
