Actor Sean Penn is receiving harsh criticism from the liberal left and the woke mob online after he hit out at the feminisation of men and culture that is rampant in the Western world today.
According to RTE, in two media appearances in the last month Penn called out the fact that “there has been an absence of male behaviour” in an era where societal gender norms have been shattered.
UK media outlet, ‘The I’ reported that Penn said “I am in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminised,” he explained. “I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did. But I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them.”
The A-lister surprisingly doubled down on those thoughts again for The Independent — and here’s where he will likely face the ire of many of his fans.
Ironically, Penn is known for his left-wing politics in Hollywood but the modern liberal left ideology, particularly as it relates to gender ideology and its disdain for masculinity seems to have turned the actor off as he now braces for the inevitable backlash from the politically correct, woke establishment.
