A group of Pro Life activists have once again vowed to never, ever give up with their quest to “keep Ireland free from abortion” and holding protests outside GP clinics and hospitals where abortions are being performed.
A number of people held a rally at the weekend outside a GP clinic in Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny holding placards in protest to abortions being provided for in the clinic.
Amongst their signs read “Adoption is the option”, “Smile, your mum chose life” and “Human rights begin in the womb”.
The Minister for Health Simon Harris said he is trying to bring exclusion zones which would stop such protests, but the majority of people, even on the pro choice side of the debate, feel that this would be a complete suppression of free speech and would impact the likes of nurses protesting outside hospitals for the likes of pay or working conditions.
