Aer Lingus announces new flight route from Dublin Airport to Brittany, France

As Ireland prepares to play France in the opening Six Nations rugby match, Aer Lingus Regional has revealed that it will be visiting Brittany once more this summer, reports Independent.

The seasonal service to Brest in the French area will resume on May 4, according to Emerald Airlines, the operator of Aer Lingus Regional services.

Tuesdays and Saturdays are the two days a week that the flights will run.

Additionally, beginning on May 1, it will begin operating a new, twice-weekly route—with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays—from Dublin Airport to Rennes, reports Independent.

The turboprop ATR72-600 aircraft, which can accommodate up to 72 passengers, will be used for both flights.

When purchased as part of a return ticket, fares on aerlingus.com start at €49.99 per way, reports Independent.
