Aer Lingus begins talks with unions as further job losses all but inevitable

Aer Lingus has reportedly begun talks with unions as further job losses appear all but inevitable.

Ireland’s flagship carrier is in deep trouble after losing millions during the pandemic.

The airline confirmed that it’s closing its cabin crew base in Shannon Airport, with the loss of as many as 126 jobs.

Staff at Cork Airport will also be laid off between September and late November.
