Aer Lingus has confirmed an ‘unspecified’ number of layoffs.
Ireland’s flagship air carrier had previously said that letting staff go would be inevitable amidst the sharp decline in air travel, and the uncertainty over future demand.
The company did not reveal the actual number of people who lost their jobs.
