Gardai have seized eight dogs after stopping a speeding van.
The incident happened on Friday evening, on the Dublin-Cork motorway outside Thurles.
The dogs were discovered after Gardai heard loud barking while talking to the van’s driver.
The animals were in good health, and were taken to a shelter while an investigation is ongoing. No arrests were made.
