Aer Lingus issues apology after passengers were unable to download their boarding passes due to IT issue

Aer Lingus has issued an apology after an IT issue left passengers unable to download their boarding passes over the last 24 hours.

A number of passengers received the message ‘All attempted boarding pass retrievals failed’, sparking worry and the possibility of facing long queues at the airport check-in desks.

It is understood that the problem is now resolved.
